Brunello 2019 and special news: the birth of the Argiano Wine club
Ten years have passed since the acquisition of Argiano by the Esteves family, great lovers of wine and Tuscany.
A young Sienese enologist, Bernardino Sani, was chosen to lead this historic winery in Montalcino. Thus began a beautiful journey, made up of many projects – which we will share with you in our bimonthly newsletter. Several of these projects were quite innovative and far-sighted, with the primary objective of making Argiano an Italian excellence known throughout the world.
Today we can say that this goal has been achieved. At the end of 2023, our Brunello di Montalcino 2018 was nominated Wine of the Year by the well-known American magazine Wine Spectator. This award has made us all very proud and grateful, becoming a confirmation of the good work done so far and an incentive to do even better.

This year we are presenting Brunello 2019, a wine that is the result of a practically perfect year with a cool spring that provided the necessary water reserves, a hot summer with some rain at the end of August, and a very stable September that allowed the grapes to ripen to perfection.
The result is a fresh and fruity Brunello, with balsamic final notes to prove its great complexity and elegance; important but silky tannins and a pleasant savory note on the finish. A Brunello that has given us great satisfaction and that has charmed many critics in the wine sector. Here, a quick review of the ratings obtained.
